Hybrids and PHEVs

It is true, I drive a plug in hybrid from Ford now. It is the last type of vehicle I would have ever guessed I would be driving, but I am hooked now. Ford's line of hybrids and PHEV's (Plugin Hybrid Electric Vehicles) are just outstanding. We drive a Fusion Energi now and it is our second Ford hybrid. Wouldn't go back.

The technical aspects (especially the transmission) are just astounding.

This discussion always starts a food fight, so have at it!

I try to only buy Ford's now days. I just don't have any luck with GM products and they got me on $100k worth of trucks a few years back. Poor warranty, refuse to warranty, etc. My F150's typically go 250k miles without any real issues.. I only buy the 5.4's for me, but my son has the 4.6 in his F150 and my Daughter has the 4.6 in her expedition. My wife's Avalanche just had the ball joints replaced for the 2nd time in 3 years (19k miles).. aggravating because she won't let me sell the damn thing..

I love my F150 '05 model and still looks good for a 11 year old truck. I couldn't get what it is worth to me either out right sale or trade-in so I guess I'll keep it
