The Interior Lights were stuck on in my 1987 Corvette Convertible the last few days.
The Courtesy Timer Light Module Board Failed.
I just got it out of my Corvette.
The info online on now abandoned Corvette forums is very old (2003-2004) has the exact module location elusive.
Incorrect at least for 1987 Corvettes.
I found the #14080625 Courtesy light timer module just forward of the ECM Passenger side.
It is taped up to the main harness with masking tape.
You can pull it down with your fingers.
Do not remove the Dash Pad & passenger crash pad "BREADBOX" as others have stated.
I was on Direct Hits yesterday at work and the guys had it listed in the wrong location too.
Its not easy to see or find but it is there.
Also the Low Coolant Light Module is taped up with masking tape too.
I found that 1st. I also removed it because the 1990-1996 Big Griffin radiator I installed does not have a provision for the 1984-1989 C4 low coolant level sensor that snaps into stock Plastic & aluminum C4 radiators.
Now the interior lights are off and the rear spare tire carrier light is off on the outside.
Interior lights come on with the headlight dimmer switch rotated full counter clockwise.
Low coolant light that has been on for 2 years is now off also.
Found another #14080625 Timer light module. Going to buy it.
